Clarification on post jamb(updated)

It Is no longer news that the post utme of most universities have been cancelled (except those that have written)
Many aspirants have been wondering how the universities would use their utme score to get their aggregate score....many have concluded that they would increase the utme cutoff to 250,280 or whatsoever. But this is not the case.
It is you o'level results that would be used to get your cutoff
C6 - 2pt, c5 - 4pt, c4- 6pt b3- 8pt B2- 10pt A1-12pt
For the 5 o'level subjects required for your course. Each grade would be represent a point (refer to the quoted text) above
how to calculate your aggregate score
1. Sum up all the points corresponding to the grades you have in your o'level
2. Divide your utme score by 8
3. Sum up 1 and 2.
4. Divide by 110
5. Multiply by 100
Example
Utme score- 230
O level results-. A1,B2,B3,C4 and C6
1. 230÷8= 29
2. A1= 12 points
B2= 10 points
B3= 8 points
C4= 6 points
C6= 2 points
Total= 38 points
3. 29+38=67
4. 67/110= 0.61
5. 0.61* 100= 61%

JAMB HAS forwarded COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF CANDIDATE(S) TO all respective SCHOOL(S) ....as information we get from FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE ABEOKUTA......and one of the 2016 ADMISSION PROTOCOL OFFICER WE HAVE THERE SAID......

(1) Oral interview of subject areas will be asked.i.e s candidate having A1 in mathematics wil be given QUESTIONS in Mathematics to confirm if truly HE/SHE is academically sound or NOT.

(2) SUBJECT COMBINATION IN JAMB.....as most universities will USED their own SUBJECT COMBINATION.

(3) DRESSING CODE

(4) COMMUNICATION SKILLS(BOLDNESS)

OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY ON 2016 SCREENING EXERCISE

A statement which was purported to have emanated from the Public Relations Officer of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-ife (OAU), Olanrewaju Abiodun has is that the institution in line with the Federal government's directive will not be conducting Post-UTME for candidates seeking admission into the institution this year.

According to the statement credited to the PRO,

"OAU is owned by the federal government, so we will not conduct our own Post UTME since we have been directed not to do so"

However, how the institution intends to run the admission process for this year was not disclosed.

I will advise you don't abandon your books yet to avoid unpleasant surprises.
